The approach
Most groups define themselves by an industry. We define ourselves by an approach — patient, hands-on, and entrepreneurial — applied wherever we find a business worth building or backing. That gives us the freedom to follow opportunity instead of being trapped by a category.
Our philosophy
We invest our own capital and run our own businesses.
So we think long term by default. We favour recurring revenue over one-off transactions, durable relationships over volume, and compounding quality over rapid scale. We would rather build and hold a small number of businesses run to an exacting standard than a sprawling portfolio run indifferently.
